She loves hats

Brynn is a hat lover. She likes to wear them around the house, she get excited to put that on before her jacket to go outside...she just loves hats.

She also to love to turn bowls into hats. Even when full of yogurt.

"Haha now mumma has to give me a bath!"

Merry Christmas

Brynn enjoyed her second Christmas!
She was very fortunate to get a lot of new fun toys, clothes, and books. She was a great hostess for a full house and even behaved well despite nap time that started 3 hours late (she couldn't leave the festivities - that would have been rude).

'Twas the night before Christmas...

Excited about her new table and chair set on Christmas morning.

Always a monkey!

Christmas Tree

We went to Chip-In Farm to get our Christmas tree today. The farm had a lot of animals for Brynn to see. The problem was she was scared of them...she wanted nothing to do with the cows, sheep, goat, pig, etc.

She was happy playing with the tractors though. That kept her occupied while we picked out our tree.

Playdates!!

Brynnie has had a few friends over this past week. She loves having friends over...but doesn't always remember to share her toys......

Kasey came over to have lunch and play a week ago. We didn't get any pictures until Kasey put her coat on, ready to head home. Hannah was over yesterday for lunch and playing too. We managed to remember to get the camera out earlier this time!

Kasey posing with Brynnie.

Kissing goodbye.

Static Hannah!

Riding with someone is much more fun than alone!

Concord Tree Lighting

Last Sunday, the coldest day yet of the season, was the Concord Holiday Open House and Tree Lighting. We bundled Brynnie up and went to see what it was all about.

The crowds were HUGE and Brynn had fun being out at night. This time she wasn't afraid of Santa - because she didn't see him!! She did like the big tree lit up though.

Brynn + Santa = Disaster

Well she is at the peak age for stranger anxiety...she doesn't like anyone new and takes a while to get warmed up when people come to our house or when we go to visit someone's house. Santa was no exception.

Next year will be better!

Happy Thanksgiving

What a difference a year makes! This Thanksgiving Brynnie was talking, walking, running - doing all the things a toddler does.

She didn't indulge in too much turkey; she has had a virus and very high temperature for a few days so wasn't quite herself when it came to food. I'm sure she will be enjoying leftovers....

Here she is in her holiday finest. (Yes, her hair really has gotten that long!)

Patriots with the Sinis Family

Brynnie had a fun playdate with Libby while their parents watched the Patriots game today.

The girls especially loved crowding into Libby's fun tent...screeching when one was inside and one was outside...and getting their hair full of static.

The next generation: Wayland style

Hughie was in town from NY this weekend so he came over to play with Brynnie. Jody, Hugh's mom, grew up with Carrie in Wayland.

Once Brynnie got Hughie to wake up (by pulling the blanket off of him, touching his feet and legs) they had a lot of fun together. The kids loved running all over the house, playing with all of Brynn's toys.

I think he is waking up now that I'm up on the couch with him!

Is Brynn flirting?!?!?

Wrestle mania...don't worry, Brynnie held her own.

Happy Halloween

Brynn wore a Halloween outfit to school today and got into costume when she arrived home.

Lobster bash

Popop brought Maine lobsters to us today. Brynn had her first meeting with live lobsters...she thought they were funny until they got too close.
She seems to feel the same way about Popop's dogs!!

Fall Festival at Brynnie's school

We had a great time at Brynnie's school's Fall Festival today. Brynn especially enjoyed being able to go into all of the classrooms and playrooms throughout the building.

She painted a pumpkin, made a picture with spin art, ate a donut for the first time, played in the obstacle course and found out she loved the trampoline, performed on stage with tamborines, played in the ballpit, explored "Make Believe Boulevard" (she especially loved pushing the shopping cart), and got to see her friends dressed up in their Halloween costumes. After a few hours there she was more than ready for her nap!

Will she bring them luck?

Tonight is the last chance the Red Sox have to move on to the World Series. Brynn supported her hometown team all day with her Papi shirt and baseball-fringed socks .
Let's hope she helped bring them luck!
