A big first!

Today Brynnie rolled over for the first time. She went from her stomach to her back...it all happened very fast and she looked at me with a bewildered expression when she was done. That could have been because I couldn't contain my excitement and was congratulating her so much...

Yesterday Brynn worked on her reading skills with her taggie book.

Time to wake up!

Brynn didn't feel like waiting for her daddy to wake up this weekend...so she went in and took care of business.

Brynn's First Christmas Tree

Today Brynn got to go shopping for her first Christmas tree!
She had a fun time looking around at all the trees and and smelling the pine. Our Brynnie definitely has shopping skills (something she gets from her mother perhaps?) - she picked out a good looking tree for her first time out...

HO HO HO!!

Brynnie met Santa for the first time today. She was a little bewildered by the whole experience as you can see from the expression on her face.

Sittin' pretty

We had tried Brynn in her bebe pod about a month ago and she was not only way too small for it but she slid right into a slumped position.

Just a few weeks later and she's an old pro at it!

We should have named her Cathy...

...because she certainly is a Chatty Cathy.

Maybe her Gammie is right: Brynn is going to be just like her mom - on the phone all the time as a teenager. If so, we have our work cut out for us!

Check out Brynn working the camera yesterday. The video was originally much longer but we couldn't post all 5 minutes of her chatter. Sorry that it cuts off in the middle of it!

Also, Brynn had a doctor appointment yesterday and clocked in at 14 lbs (75th percentile) and 24-3/4" long (90th percentile).

Brynn's First Turkey Day

We had a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving, but most of all, we are soo thankful for our beautiful little Brynnie. Here are some pictures that were taken over the holiday weekend.

Laughter

Today Carrie recorded some of Brynn's first real laughs and we thought it would be fun to share!!! We have been seeing plenty of smiles, but hearing her laugh is just awesome!!!

The Brynn Blog Launch!!

We are in the initial stages of setting up this "Blog" so we can post pictures, video & other fun things about Brynn. This will be an easy way to see Brynn and keep up to date with what kind of fun things she is doing! Check back soon for more pictures!!
