Trip to Philadelphia: 4th of July

For the 4th of July, we went to the Touch Museum (Philly's children's museum) in the morning and then to a Festival on Benjamin Franklin Parkway in the afternoon.

The Touch Museum was fantastic...much better than Boston's Children's Museum! We all had a lot of fun and because we were there when the doors opened, we pretty much had the place to ourselves. We saw every room, tried every game, made arts + crafts, and rode another carousel.

Red, white and blue!

Driving a race car.

Taking orders at McDonald's.

Grocery shopping.
Grocery store check-out (the scanner really works!)

Changing a diaper in the maternity ward.

Playing with the big dollhouse.

Riding the carousel. (Carousel #2 of the weekend)

WHOA over the water games!

"Playing" the piano from the movie BIG.

Their favorite: driving and riding the bus.
(Brynnie is obsessed with busses...she finally got to ride one!)

Driving daddy.
At the 4th of July Festival, Brynnie & ZZ got to test out the bouncie rides and eat a lot of food! We didn't last for the fireworks - they went off way past bedtime.

She climbed up there all by herself after going through an obstacle course with ZZ!

Dancing.

Brynnie loves to eat...even HUGE pretzels!
